Jeanine R. Steffy

JEANINE R. STEFFY, JD, CPA is an attorney at Steffy Law Firm, P.C., practicing primarily in the areas of estate planning, business planning, tax planning, nonprofit law, and probate.  

​Ms. Steffy received her Masters in Accounting, as well as her J.D., from the University of New Mexico.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and a former Adjunct Professor at UNM Anderson School of Management where she taught managerial, financial and tax accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels for nearly a decade.  

Ms. Steffy is a Fellow with the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has written and presented to professional and general audiences on topics which include estate planning and probate, taxation, elder benefits, and nonprofits.  Ms. Steffy is a member of the Taxation Section of the New Mexico State Bar (Past Chair, Current Board Member), the Taxation Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Mexico Estate Planning Council (Current Board Member), the Santa Fe Estate Planning Council (Past President) and the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs.
